Longtime developer, Detroit advocate Walter Cohen dies at 71
McIntosh Poris Associates pays tribute to a long-time friend, client and developer who left a mark on the Detroit region through dozens of unique projects in the suburbs and city dating back to the 1980s. MPA worked with Walter on the Foundation Hotel — a $34 million redevelopment of the former Detroit Fire Department headquarters, DuCharme Place apartments in Lafayette Park, and the Park Shelton condos in Midtown.
