McIntosh Poris Architects collaborated with Greektown Casino to revamp the outdated Eclipz Lounge and Pantheon Buffet area into a new high-end restaurant and high-limit lounge. 8,245-square-foot was transformed into a full service restaurant and VIP Lounge, equipped with a new signature kitchen and service stations. The existing oval shaped bar remained and acted as a guideline for the rest of the layout. Paying attention to the natural daylight coming in from the 40-foot high window walls, it was important to warm the restaurant up, which was done by adding amber wood tones and millwork throughout the space. Two focal points consist of a glass walk-in wine storage, flanking the entry, which compliments the white onyx sommeliers table that houses coolers for white wine, as well as hanging storage for glasses.
