The Lafayette East Village Master Plan was developed to provide a plan to guide and focus the redevelopment activities of the Church of the Messiah Housing Corporation. The plan comprises an architectural proposal designed to stimulate the redevelopment of Lafayette East Village and to serve as a model for urban renewal.
As a master plan there is no single solution, rather the Plan consist of a series of integrated responses. By focusing on the particular conditions of a location, the intention is to release the Village’s potential while reinforcing its unique sense of place.
